Bangalore

Hampi

Some famous tourist attractions of the place are Sri Ranganatha swamy Temple, Tippu’s Fort, Gumbaz, Dariya Daulat Palace, Dungeon and Juma Majid. It was the historic capital of Tippu Sultan. You can still see several monuments related to his rule.

Hassan

This scenic hill town is located in Malnad. It is around 195 km from Bangalore. Hassan is home to some popular pilgrimages like Halebid, Belur and Shravanabelagola. Situated in close vicinity, all these form an integral part of cultural heritage of Karnataka.

Badami

It is a historic town, known for cave temples. These temples were built by Chalukya kings. The place offers attractions like beautiful rock-cut temples, artificial lake and intricately carved cave temples. The natural surroundings also enhance the aesthetic appeal of the land.
